Not a fashion person per se and don't really enjoy shopping but I was fairly annoyed that my "off the shelf" shirts or other "athletic fit?" shirts were not tapered and looked ridiculous! None fit properly 17.5 neck and 34-35 sleeve but I'm NOT a typical fat American so yeah my shoulders are wider than my waist or build!
So, long story short, great purchase and in two minutes from now, clearing out the other shirts and just ordering the fitted van heusen. I'm happy.

The problem with these shirts is that actually they are made more from plastic than from cotton fibers, even the tag on them says that, 65% polyester and 35% cotton, not as advertised upper on the page, with the proportions inverted. So keep this in mind when you what to buy these, and look for something with more cotton.

Overall a nice shirt as far as quality and being wrinkle-free out of the dryer. The one thing I do not like is these shirts should not be considered fitted. I am 5'6", 145lbs, and these shirts fit the same as a normal non-fitted from any other manufacturer. I am guessing since these are made for the American market that they assume you are overweight which will make the shirts have a fitted fit in that case. If you are slender then you can expect the shirt to be a bit baggy. I own approx 15 of these shirts in just about every color they make and I do like the shirts. It just annoys me that they do not actually have a fitted fit for slender people.

This shirt initially appeared that it would come out of the dryer in a wrinkled state and I hate to iron. I was pleased to see the fabric looked crisp right from the dryer. Fit is nice and true to size.
